Invisalign can be used to correct many types of orthodontic problems in teens and adults. A series of clear, removable, and comfortable aligners are worn to gradually move your teeth to their proper positions. These custom aligners are made with 3-D computer imaging technology and proven to be safe, effective, and precise.

At the beginning of treatment, small, temporary, tooth-coloured attachments are bonded to several teeth to facilitate the required tooth movements. Each set of aligners is worn for 2 weeks, and are only removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As each aligner is replaced with the next in the series, the teeth will move until they have straightened to the final position prescribed. Occasionally, elastics are worn to the aligners to improve the bite.

Invisalign patients are able to view their own virtual treatment plan at the start of treatment, which allows them to see how their teeth will look when treatment is complete.
